Forgotten Memories (Xeno and Cookie)

The sixteen year old sat in a tree overlooking a glistening lake, Yukiko often came up here to relax or to just think about things, but not today, today she came to end it all. She just couldn't handle her cruel life anymore, she was going mad and decided the best thing to do would be to end it right here right now, in her favorite place in the world. The calm serenity of the lake eased her nerves for what she was about to do. She unsheathed her Katana from her back and held it to her chest "goodbye cruel world" soon it would all be a distant memory, she didnt know what death was like but she was about to find out.

Excuse me." A voice came from under the girl. "But are you ok?" the voice asked. The voice was coming for a young sand jounin named Lantin Fujarii. He was standing under the tree Yukiko was siting in, looking up at her. He knew the answer to his own question. She looking depressed and was holding her weapon against herself. His scythe started to glowed a light blue as his sorrow was eaten away.

(I assume you mean HER sorrow :3)

Yukiko blinked a few times as he spoke to her, her mood suddenly changing "I'm... Fine" her voice sounded odd, like she was unsure of herself as she lowered the blade and looked at it as if it was a foren object and if she didn't know how it got there. It was as if all the sadness and sorrow had been taken from her and she dropped the blade, letting it fall to the ground now forgotten. The wind picked up slightly, blowing her wavy pink hair all over the place and her stormy grey eyes watched the man below her as she leapt down to the ground in a fowl swoop and landed in front of him, narrowing her eyes a bit she studied him from top to tail warily, she always had had a thing about trust.

(no i actually did mean his. He feels bad for her and his scythe feeds on his sorrow. He can take away her sorrow, but thats not what the scythe was currently eating, but lets just roll with it anyways. (= )

Unknown to the girl, Lantin had cut her leg slightly with his scythe. Just enough to draw blood and was probably mistaken for a bug bite. The scythe had removed her saddness, but it wouldn't be permenate. So he would have to find out why such a beautiful girl would want to end her life. "My name is Lantin Fujarii. I was looking around the lake when I saw you in the tree. Why are you out here like that"

She absentmindedly rubbed her leg where he had cut it and sighed looking back to the blade "If you must know I came out here to take the easy way out" Yukiko admitted with a casual shrug a slight embarrassed blush on her face "But don't worry i'm not that coward to do that anymore" She added quickly to reassure him though not telling him her name, she didn't see any need for introductions to someone she had just met. "Well Lantin, i'll be off then" bowing politely her hair flipping as she did so she offered a slight polite smile and turned, picking up her katana and sheathing it in a sheath on her back.

"hold on." Lantin said quickly. He knew that in a few minutes here Darrow would return and unless she was ready, she would just return here to kill herself. "Please don't leave yet." he called to her. "Parhaps I can hel you with what was bothering you to the point of killing yourself."

"trust me" she replied stopping and glancing over her shoulder "but you have no idea what my life is like, I don't think you could help" even though she said that Yukiko stayed where she was, looking over to the glistening lake beside her as she waited for an answer, her eyes glistening just like the lake.
