Envy Hates Sake (Open)

Envy walked through the streets of Konoha, yawning. She had just arrived a few hours ago with her younger brother, and had checked into a hotel before heading out on her own.
As much as taking care of Kentan was necessary and helped her develop caring feelings, she needed a break, some time to herself.

Envy continued on her way, until she reached a rather large bar that she had been to a few years back. It was familiar to her, something that made her a little more....comfortable that she usually was.

She casually strolled in and sat down at the bar, stretching her arms. A few guys turned to look at her, but she simply ignored them.

The bartender, a finely-dressed young man, approached her. "Can I get you anything, miss?" he asked in a friendly tone.
Envy nodded. "Just some sake, please," She replied, putting some money on the table.
The bartender nodded and retrieved it almost immdiately.
"Thanks..."

Envy drank a little bit of it, then grimaced a little. She'd forgotten how much she hated the taste of Sake. Oh well.
She needed the alchohol anyways. It helped her to relax. even if it did taste like crap. So she finished it, then headed to the bathroom.

When she came back, some guy slapped her on the butt.
"Heyy babe," The guy slurred. He was obviously quite drunk.
"Whyy dont you come back to my place, and we can have some funnn..."
Envy's personality instantly shifted to murderous. She was about to punch him into a table, but thought the better of it.
"Sure," she said, smiling devilishly. The guy looked surpised, but started leading the way.
They reached a secluded area, where no one could see or hear them. It wasnt his house, but it would have to do.

All of a sudden, Envy pounced on the man, immobilizing him and crushing his arms onto the ground.
"Now, now, dont be scared," she giggled. "This'll be fun.....for me, anyways....not so sure about you."

She used a kunai to rip off his pants.
"And now...a lesson. This thing here," she said, motioning to his exposed manhood, "Has turned you into a disgusting fool. Consider this a favor."
In a split second, she castrated him with the kunai. A bloodcurdlng scream escaped his mouth, and Envy laughed.
Envy then used the bloody kunai to slit his throat.

She stood up, laughing maniacally. "Serves you right," she giggled.

Envy wiped off her kunai, and then walked back to the bar, leaving the man's body.

She smiled, sat back down in her seat, and took another sip of her drink. She scowled.
Envy really did hate Sake.

Now now." A voice from behind Envy said. It can from a rather tall man dressed rather nicely. "That really isn't a way a lady should behave." The man said and turned to look at her. He took a sip of his drink and wiped his mouth with a napkin. Then standing up, he moved and sat next to her. "Killing some drunkered is fun, but dangerous. What if someone else had seen you. Your lucky I was the only one, but don't worry, some of my men are cleaning up and removing the body." The man sipped his drink again and then laughed. "Its been awhile since i've had a drink in a bar. Its never perfeectly safe for me to go out, but I'll make an exception for my dear sister envy." The man said and looked down at her. Greed.

((Im assuming this is taking place before the sins meeting. Envy never met Greed before the meeting))

Envy blinked, turning to look at him slowly.

"What the fuck......Who the hell are you?"

"Ah, I sometimes forget that we don't all know eachother." He said and grinned. "Well then, allow me to intruduce myself, dear sister envy. I am one of the sins, your brother. Greed." He said nad finished off his drink. "I'm what you might call, the black sheep of the family." He laughed nad stand up. "If you need anymore proof that I am who I am....." He held open his palm. In the center was the tattoo marking him a sin. "Come with me if you feel like drinking something with a bit more flavor."

Against her will, Envy's personality shifted again.
"Umm.....well....thats a nice offer but ah...I cant. My little brother is w-waiting for me to get back, and I cant just leave him all alone," she said shyly.
"A-and besides, I'm not really into alchohol anyways....I very rarely drink at all...."

"pleas sis. I insist. You can ever bring little gluttony." he said. He knew of all the sins. And he had double checked. He had video of each sin, checking for each of there marks. He had seen envy's as well. "if you do decide to come. Head out of the village. One of my men will escort you." greed stood up and started to leave the bar.

Envy considered his offer for a moment, before finally deciding to come.

She walked out of the bar, and to the hotel where she was staying.

She unlocked the door and walked in.
Kentan was watching cartoons in the living room, and didnt look up.

"Kentan," Envy called, grabbing his attention.

"Yes, nee-chan?"

Envy smiled at his cute-ness.

"Turn off the tv. We're going to visit someone."

Kentan looked at her strangely, but obeyed and turned off the tv, which was showing Spongebob.
Her white tiger, Meiuke, yawned and got up as well.

A few minutes later, and they were walking out the gates of Konoha.
Kentan clutched his teddy-bear, looking around nervously. It was easy to see that he was a bit frightened by the forest.

Envy smiled, and rubbed his shoulder. "Its ok," she murmered to him soothingly. "Dont be scared..."


After they were a good ways down the dirt road, they stopped. Meiuke growled.
Envy looked around for a sign of one of Greed's men.

A man leaned against a tree. He was dressed like a butler. "Ah, you must be The master's siblings. Follow me." The man said as he looked over at the two. He walked into the forest, leading the two through the trees. "It is here where master has set his home in the hidden leaf." He said as they reached a large boulder. "Allow me to show you." The butler bent down and pushed in a button that looked like it was part of the rock. The blouder shoift and revealed a cavern underground. "The master's mansion is a few minutes walk from here. Do watch your step." When the three entered the tunnel, the rock slide back in place and the tunnel was illuminated with lights.

"Whoa...." Envy's eyes widened at the site.

"Thats incredible...."

Kentan had gotten tired of walking, so he jumped onto Meiuke.
Since he was so small, he was able to ride Meiuke, almost like a horse. Only he was riding a white tiger.
Envy and Kentan continued to follow the man.

Asthey came to the end of the tunnel, there were stairs heading up. It opened into the middle of the forest and there stood a huge mansion. This was Greeds humble Konoha home. "Here we are." The butler said and escorted them to the fromt door. "The master is waiting in his office, Right up the main staircase and down hte hall. Its the large golden down with his symbol on it." The butler opened hte door and everything inside was exactly the way a billionair would live. "If you'll excuse me, I have other matters to attend to."

"Um...ok," Envy said softly.

Meiuke walked closer to her, not minding carrying Kentan on her back.


Envy followed the butlers directions and stopped in front of the door.

The tattoo on her lower back, the one that marked her as a sin, seemed to tingle for a moment.

Envy stepped up and knocked on the door.

There was silence for a moment, then a voice called out from the other side of the door. "Enter." Greeed said and the door swung open on its own. The room was dark, almost no lights were on. At the end of the room, Greed sat behind a desk, his face completely unregonizable though the shadows. As he saw Envy enter, he smiled nad snapped his fingers. The lights all came on, illuminating the dark room. "Welcome. to my humble home." He said with great pride,

"Thankyou," said Envy.
"How'd you do that thing with the lights? It was cool."

tiny sound baced switch. Reacts to the sound of my fingers snapping." Greed explained and got up. The first thing he noticed was the little boy next to Envy. "And this must be gluttony." He said and looked down at the boy. "A pleasure to meet my youngest sibling in the flesh." Greed bowed to the small bow, then looked up at envy.

Kentan looked at Greed, quite confused.
"Brother? I....I have a brother?" Kentan mumbled.
Envy sighed.

"Listen um....I'm really sorry, Greed. I haven't told Kentan about the uh...rest of the sins," envy whispered, too quietly for kentan to hear. "I thought that it would be best to wait until he was older to tell him the truth..:as far as he knows, I'm his mother, though I do insist he calls me Envy, or Neechan," envy whispered.
Kentan didn't hear any of it, and was only growing more confused.

Greed simply nodded. He understood the situation already, however it had slipped his mind. Probably for the best. He doubted Envy would take kindly to knowing that she had been followed and flimmed by greed's men. " He walked around the desk and up to the two sins. "Its a bit small in here. Let's go to my lounge." He said and walked out the door. He motioned for them to follow. The mansion was suprisingly empty. Greed had ordered everyone out, save his girls and hi number 1. "Its right over here." He opened the door and reavled a mini nightclub. However, it was lit up like a normal room, and no music was on. "Normally this room is quiet loud but as of now, there is no one here to run it."

Envy blinked.
"Damn...this place is bigger than I thought....."
Just how big was his place, anyway? For all envy knew, he could have A secret city or something here..

greed sat at one of the round tables, putting his feet up on the table top and leaning back in his seat. Then he realized something was missing. "Ah yes. I was going to pour myself a drink," He swaid, getting back up. "Makeyourselves comfortable, when I get back we can talk." He said as he walked to the bar and went in. He poured some expensive liquior into tthe glass and dropped in an ice cube and went to return to envy and gluttony.

"Thankyou for letting us visit your wonderful home," Envy said, bowing graciously. She motioned for Kentan to do the same.

Greed returned to his seat and sipped his drink. "It's no trouble at all." he said and bowwed his head. "to be honest, my profession prevents me from having many people over. Most who work for me have never even seen my face." he sighed

"hmmm..." Envy mumbled. To her, it seemed almost strange.
Maybe Greed was lonely.

Kentan, who had been silent until this moment, suddenly stepped forward.
"So....you're my big brother?" he asked, looking up at him.

Greed looked tat the child with a stumped look. He glanced over at Envy, before turning to te boy. "There is something that your 'Mother' and I should probably tell you." Greed cleared his throat. "YOu see, I'm not your brother by blood, but by creation. We are...We are sins. I am Greed and your mother is Envy. and you my little brother are gluttony."
